I had an appointment with one of my doctors that I hadn’t seen since March 2023. Back then, I weighed 195 lbs. Today, I weighed in at 140 lbs. 🙌
He was so intrigued by my transformation and wanted to know more about GLPs. Of course, he gave me a friendly lecture on nutrition—reminding me to eat breakfast, watch what I eat, and limit soda/juice. The funny thing? When I weighed 195 lbs, I was actually health coaching. I already knew nutrition wasn’t my problem. And I’ve only ever been a water drinker my whole life—no soda, no juice, no coffee.
Obesity is not a lack of knowledge or willpower—it’s a metabolic disorder. And I am beyond thankful that GLPs finally became the “cat out of the bag” after being gatekept for decades. These medications are truly changing lives. 💛
