This is my friend Brittany and here is her story:
The woman on the left?
She knew every calorie, every macro, every hack.
She memorized menus before dinners… Googling nutrition guides so she wouldn’t “mess up.”
She counted cashews. Six. No more. No less.
She starved all day…Then spiraled when the cravings hit.
She bought every pill, powder, tea, and cleanse that promised a quick fix.
She hired a trainer. Sweated. Cried. Pushed.
She lost weight…Then gained it back. And then some. Over and over again.
Each time hoping this would be the time it stuck.
She wasn’t chasing health. She was chasing worthiness.
And no matter how much weight she lost…It never felt like enough.
The woman on the right?
She ended the war. She stopped punishing herself to feel “good enough.” She found science — not shame. Support — not starvation. Peace — not punishment.
I lost 53 pounds — and this time?
It stayed off. I’ve been at my goal weight for over 3 years now. No crazy diets. No obsession. No shame over eating the foods I love. No regaining.
What I gained is worth so much more: Freedom. My smile. My sanity. My damn life back.
So if you’ve ever:
Sat in your car crying over the scale…
Canceled plans because nothing fit…
Felt like you were doing everything right but still failing…
Please hear me:
You are NOT alone.
You are NOT broken.
And this? This doesn’t have to be your forever.
